The echo of moon off of bone, and the fiery blood in her eyes are the only hints at light.

The base of this art doll is a Monster High G1 Skelita Calaveras. Her face was repainted using chalk pastels, watercolor pencils, and acrylic paint, sealed between layers with Mr. Super Clear. Her hair is made from yarn wefts, left shaggy and "unbrushed" to her shoulders. Antlers are sculpted with wire and epoxy, and are permanently attached to her head.
Wendi's handsewn outfit features:
- a long sleeve, knee length dress in charcoal dyed crinkle silk, with a layered black tulle ruffle (Velcro in back)
- a corset skirt in 2 alternating grey cotton prints, also with a black tulle ruffle (Velcro in back)
- forest green felt cape with black fur-rimmed hood and mossy yarn sewn to the shoulders
- redecorated G1 shoes with black fur and a skull on each heel.
Accessories include:
- a skull and moss yarn belt
- hemp and skulls necklace
- mossy yarn and skulls "hat"
- a lunch box purse with skull on front (opens)
