Rhonda the Halloween Witch

Orange and black, and a little kitty cat, a bit of candy, some pumpkins dandy. The most magical day, in the most autumn way, playing bats and bones, faint ghostly moans.

​The base of this art doll is a Monster High G3 Draculaura.  Repainting of her face included Prismacolor pencils, acrylic paint, and chalk pastels (sealed in layers with MSC).  She has rerooted two-tone hair in a long bob cut- it is able to be styled a bit, but it is on the shorter side so I just boil washed it and left it smooth and down.

Rhonda's delicate 3 piece outfit is hand sewn from assorted fabrics- cotton, tulle, lace. She has a stretchy black lace bodice (velcro closure) with an orange lace up front, a layered orange skirt with black tulle (also velcro closure) and a jack-o-lantern bodice top (velcro closure).  Her sheer stockings are repurposed from her original G3 outfit, as well as her shoes- repainted in orange and black, with epoxy sculpted jack-o-lantern bats.  Her hat is two-toned black and orange, with a bendable tip, black and white striped ribbon, and another sculpted jack-o-lantern.

Her accessories- tiny pumpkin bat earrings, hand made with wire, epoxy sculpt, paint, and paper.  A little black kitty handbag, sewn with ribbon and cotton fabrics, comes with a charm doodad- tiny pink skull, a skeleton key, silver stars, a black jewel, and some pink assorted beads.  Her broom- black and white striped handle (wood, painted) and deep orange bristles, attached with a striped black and white ribbon and another sculpted jack-o-lantern.
