You know the story- look into a mirror and say her name 5 times... The buzzing of bees starts in your head, though soon you will feel the sting of her hook- unless you've got an offering- sweets to the sweet.
The base of this art doll is a Monster High G3 Cleo DeNile. Repainting of her face included watercolor pencils, acrylic paint, and chalk pastels (sealed in layers with MSC). Her hair is a simple short cut with black flocking. Her hook hand is sculpted from a wire armature and apoxie, painted with acrylics.
Candy Ma'am's outfit is a handsewn mini dress in red snakeskin polyester with off-the-shoulder long sleeves, and has velcro closure in the back. She has a tiny white cravat for her neck- also with a velcro closure in the back. A floor length jacket in burnt black velvet and tan faux fur trim completes her attire. Hands must be removed to get the jacket on and off.
Shoes are repurposed Rainbow High boots, shortened into bootie high heels with gold buckle straps and a red base. Other handmade accessories include a bee mouthpiece (she has a hole in her lips for this piece), a matching ribcage necklace, blood drop earrings, and a "Sweets to the Sweet" graffiti tote bag.
