Bex is the color shine on an oil spill. An always-shifting creature, a rainbow's shadow, iridescent fog. Glitter incarnate- fun and beautiful, but a nuisance and quite messy.

Bex is the color shine on an oil spill. An always-shifting creature, a rainbow's shadow, iridescent fog. Glitter incarnate- fun and beautiful, but a nuisance and quite messy.
The base of this art doll is a Monster High G3 Draculaura. Repainting of her face included watercolor pencils, acrylic paint, and chalk pastels (sealed in layers with MSC). She has bright blue inset eyes made of resin and paint, eyelashes, and a yarn weft wig in a magenta to yellow fade. Her wig is styled into a ponytail with a skull barrette- barrette and horns are attached to wig.
Bex's outfit features:
- a handsewn colorshift mini dress with a pentagram collar/harness and silver findings. Velcro closure in the back.
- a black leather (vegan) vest with silver studs, and magnets on the inside to attach wings
- repurposed G3 booties to platforms with matching fabric to her dress, silver studs, and a glossy black finish. Little fiber doodads with a tiny skull and silver star are attached to each shoe. Soles are holographic.
Accessories include:
- two faux leather wings (magnetic with the vest), they are bendable so they can be adjusted as well. Small skulls attached to the back of each wing.
- a faux leather tail (also magnetic, there is a magnet inserted into her lower back)- this tail is bendable like the wings.
- teeny skull earring studs
- a matching skull choker
- a handbag made from teal satin, magenta silk, and some silver findings and black ribbon.
