Poppy the Flower Fashionista

Birthday: 8/8/2021 Having roamed many a garden and meadow, and gathered only the most colorful gems, petals, and leaves, she can finally don her flower and sky outfit. Cloud poofs and poppy shoots and pollen doots, oh my! |
The base of this art doll is a Monster High Cleo DeNile. Refurbished by hand, many materials went into her new character- Prismacolor pencils and chalk pastels for her face (sealed in layers with MSC), brushed acrylic yarn hair, inset resin eyes (handpainted) and lashes as well.
Poppy's textured outfit is inspired by "high fashion" and poppies, of course! Lots of poppies under a brilliant blue sky, speckeled with clouds. Hand sewn from satin, tulle, felt, and lots of tiny glass beads and bobbles. Dress and shawl are seperate pieces. Shoes are made from foam, toothpicks, glue and fabric, and I am jealous and want a pair in my size.
Poppy is poseable, and redressable! However, she is an ART DOLL- not great for children- she is not meant to be heavily played with, more for display and occasional redressing. Her hair is best left in the style in which it is pictured. I will include a care sheet with her. She comes in her own doll box, complete with a stand and a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
